Coldest Night of the Year 2020

Employees from New Annan supported this event on February 22, 2020. It is a national walk-a-thon that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in the community. By walking at dusk during a cold winter’s night, employees got to experience a hint of the challenge faced by those experiencing homelessness during winter. Funds raised from this event went to Harvest House PEI. Harvest House PEI’s mission has always been focused on helping Islanders to transition from destructive lifestyles to healthier and more productive futures. They offer a variety of programs for people who struggle with addictions and unhealthy lifestyles through a holistic approach that includes skills training, work ethics, education and spiritual wellbeing.
